Hi I am a photographer from the Mornington Peninsula Victoria Australia.
I love to spend time photographing our beautiful beaches on the Peninsula - the crisp salty air, the hypnotic sound of the waves, and the striking crimson sky of a sunset over the water. And mother nature’s elegance found in the beauty of a flower can captivate me for hours. I often photograph the same flower from many angles, studying the different shapes, textures and many shades of colour found in one single bloom.
I became fascinated with photography as a child and was gifted my first camera at age 10. My late father was a photographer. I will be forever grateful for his instruction and encouragement. I feel his presence every time I pick up my camera.
As a carer of a family member with a chronic illness, photography is my solace, that time just for me when I can escape the harshness of the human experience and be totally in the moment with mother nature in all her beauty.
